Anyone can join this group. Chancel is responsible for the care of the church altar and all the vestments, communion vessels, and the preparation of these before and after each service. This is a very dedicated group and one that gets very little notice unless they don’t do their job (kind of like moms and housework). The Chancel meets on a regular basis and welcomes new helpers.
