Peggy Bennitt has been a member of Redeemer for 29 years and has served in many areas during that time. She has been Family Life Director, Assistant Director of Women’s Ministries, newsletter editor, Sunday school teacher, Stephen minister and ministry leader, as well as the janitor at one time. “God calls us all to do different things for Him at different times. The janitor call really threw me off,” she laughs. She currently serves as Communication facilitator and volunteers in family life areas.
She is married to Blair, who currently serves on the Leadership Board and as Director of Physical Properties. They have three adult children: Jason, Justin, and Leah, and one granddaughter, Samantha, and one grandson, Ethan. Peggy is also a writer, and wrote a family advice column for several years. She recently finished her Bachelors degree as a Family Life Educator from Spring Arbor University.
