Second Sunday in Lent: Epistle, Romans 5:1-11                       

Romans 5:1-11

If I tried to list all the stuff (and I use stuff reverently) that WE have received and have because of Jesus just in this passage, it would create a long list. So I won’t. But I do encourage you to grab your Bible and read our epistle text for the week and underline or circle every “we” from verses 5 through 11. It really is quite astounding. What makes it stand out even more is that all these things we have received, we have received through God making friends out of enemies. That’s what Jesus has done. And WE have nothing to add. Enjoy.
